Yenni Córdoba Palacios is a journalist, photographer, and audiovisual artist born in Necoclí, Urabá. Her practice explores the dialogues and bonds that communities build with the waters and landscapes they inhabit.
She is currently pursuing a Master's in Audiovisual Creation at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where she is developing research from a situated and sensitive perspective. She explores other ways of creating and narrating the experiences, landscapes, and knowledge that take shape in relation to the sea.
As part of the Totó La Momposina Artistic and Research Residency, she will develop a research and creation process around the relationships between water, memory, and cultural practices in the Caribbean region, drawing on the sounds, bodies, images, and ways of life that emerge from these relationships.
