CULTURAL TOURISM

Mompox is a town that, throughout its history, has captivated travelers from all over the world. Its cobblestone streets and colonial architecture tell the story of the country, from the colonial era to the present day, making the area an open-air museum.
El Boga promotes cultural tourism as a profound immersion experience in the region, through activities that intertwine local gastronomy, the history of its architecture, the amphibious nature of the municipality, and a rich artistic and cultural heritage that grows daily. Here, visitors don't just explore Mompox: they inhabit it, listen to it, and experience it through its knowledge, its crafts, and the pulse of its daily life.

Traditional Food Cooking Workshops

Mompox is part of the Caribbean region of Colombia and is distinguished by its amphibious nature, historically woven between the Magdalena River and the territory of the department of Bolívar. This deep relationship with the river has shaped its way of life, its rhythms, and, especially, the flavors and combinations that give identity to its traditional cuisine.
At Casa Taller El Boga, we understand gastronomy as a gateway to the land and its living memory. Therefore, we offer traditional gastronomy workshops led by our head chef, Delvis, where visitors immerse themselves in local culinary knowledge through hands-on experience, sharing, and conversation. More than just a class, it's a cultural experience that connects the flavors of the river, inherited recipes, and the hospitality of Mompox, inviting you to discover Mompox through its food and through shared experiences.

Immersive experience

Amphibious Movement is a transformative experience: a journey of dance and breath between water and land that releases the body, awakens energy, and reconnects us with the ancestral power of the territory. It is deep wellbeing, designed for those seeking to experience a true rebirth.
Created for humans in search of transformative experiences—to feel-think the body, breathe from nature, and rediscover the pleasure of moving without haste—within heritage territories shaped by ancestral, cultural, and sensitive histories, through contemporary dance, living folklore (Chandé), Rebirthing Breathwork, and Janzu (an aquatic practice).
