//Visual Artist, animator and artist

Daniela Briceño Bello is a Colombian visual artist, animator, and artist. She trained in Visual Arts at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (2019) and holds a master's degree in Research in Arts and Design from EINA, affiliated with the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (2023).
Her practice crosses experimental animation, drawing, installation, and video, understanding the image as a space of material, conceptual, and narrative exploration. From a critical perspective, she addresses the domestic, the body, and craft as spaces of resistance, drawing on decolonial and anti-patriarchal references. She has exhibited at Espacio El Dorado (Artbo 2026) and at the Museo de Artes Visuales of the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano (Artbo 2025).
Her animated short Gloria (2022) won awards at Bogoshorts, Miradas de Medellín, and the Quillota festival in Chile, and was nominated for the Premios Macondo.
